Last couple days to 6/29

Had better  fishing last couple days with some getting their limit and plus.  Some of the limits were on one trip and some were a combination of the two trips, AM & PM.  Friday morning was one of the better ones with almost 40 keepers coming on board.  No pictures with this report but they will be coming soon. Thanks for looking in.

To June 25

"Sorry folks that  I have not posted but fishing has been pretty much the same with some good days and not so good days although it is improving overall.  Wayne Turner of N. Bergen  took a couple of pools this past week with a 7 lb 10 oz flattie and one over 6 lbs.  Monday the 25th , Bob Sabo took the pool in the afternoon with only a handful  of customers on board since the forecast kept everyone home. Joe Murphy also got a 7 lber  for a pool on Sunday and former mate Braden Niper also got a beauty that day.  Here are some photos.  I will try to post a little more often although I may do it through  my admin.

6 /9 report - double digits on both trips

Had a decent morning picking at keepers and shorts with a few nicer fish mixed in.  Next thing u know Jimmy Lee of Palisades Park N J hooks into our biggest of the season, an 11 lb 8 oz doormat to take the pool.  The afternoon produced even more keepers than the morning including a 10 lb 1 oz  doormat by Mark Hamilton of Springfield N J .  Hopefully this the start of  a good fluking season so we hope to see you soon.  Of course everything is dependent on conditions and a day by day situation.  Here are some of the pics of today.

Past week to Thurs 6/7

The fishing remains the same but we did have a nice afternoon on Thurs 6/7 with Roger Lee taking his limit out of 6 keepers and taking the pool with a 6 lber. The weather people hurt us all week with their forecasts even though the weather other than Monday morning was not bad at all.  On Weds morning  8 year old  Jimmy Freeberg of Pearl River NY enjoyed his first fishing trip and even caught 2 keepers standing next to a couple more experienced fishermen ( no names) who only caught shorts. Hopefully the fish will start turning on now so we hope to see you soon. Don't forget that next Sunday is fathers day which is a VERY busy day in the morning so you may think about getting dad a gift certificate rather then fight the crowds that day.
