Past week to June 16

After the rains of Andrea the fishing took a dive for a few days until Friday  when despite the forecast we got out on a beautiful afternoon and had some good fishing. Johnathan Harmon of Middletown managed his limit and just about  everyone went home with fish including one nice weakfish. Saturday brought us wind against tide conditions which gave us a very slow drift but we still managed  over 40 keepers. The afternoon was even better when the conditions improved with a much better drift and the fish turned on. Here are some pictures from the past couple days.

Pictures from Thursday 6/6

Past weeks fishing to Thurs 6/6

We have seen some improved fishing this week with a few bigger pool winners like 6 lb pool winner on Tues morning trip topped by a 6 1/2 lber on the afternoon trip. The fishing got even better on Thurs. when Roger Lee limited out by 10 A M. That afternoon was even better when ended up with almost 50 keepers on 3 long drifts. Not sure how Friday's storm the will affect the fishing today but  at least the weather looks good for the weekend. Hope to see you soon.

Saturday Fluke Update

The last few days the fishing has been ok with decent short action and some keepers mixed in. Yesterday afternoon we were surprised with a couple of bigger fish, an 8.5 lb fish for Tom Noon of South Brunswick, and a 5 lb keeper for Bob Sabo. We have had good turnout the past two mornings, but turnout this morning was a little lighter than expected despite the nice weather. Hope to see you soon.
