We went out on Tuesday with only a few thanks to the weather report. Was a beautiful morning with a light wind but in the wrong direction. We picked at shorts and a few nice keepers with Katie Radlel taking the pool using a rental rod. On the afternoon trip the drift got too fast so we drifted on the flats picking slowly. Had the same conditions on Wed with a very slow drift in the morning but one angler did manage 4 keepers while we power drifted around. On the afternoon the winds picked up with the tide so it was the opposite with a fast drift. Here are a couple of pics but lost some with the camera on the blink. Hope to see you soon as it looks like a nice week.

Monday 8/3 It can be done
Another tough day with the conditions of wind against the tide(current). But we managed fighting it by doing a lot of power drifting which reminds me. Please try not to fish in the back of the boat if at all possible. We work very hard to catch you fish and we do not want your line in our cutlasses or want to cut you off, especially it you use spider wire line. There are days when the boat is crowded and you don't have a choice but other wise fish up the sides. Anywayy, Tom Panyko on the morning trip did catch his limit of 5 but Danny Wong got the pool with this 5 lber. Also pictured is this young man,Matthew Tomshaw, with his first keeper of 4 lbs. On the afternoon trip the winds really kicked up but we did pick on long drifts with a few anglers going home with a couple of keepers. Thanks for looking in and hope to see you soon.

Sun 8/2 Team work for a double
Another beauty of a day on the water but on the hot side. Only problem was the light westerly breeze against the incoming tide made for almost no drift. We did manage to power drift to make a drift but with a big gang there were some tangles and a couple of cow nose rays did not help things. We did however, put a decent catch together with Jenni Jo taking the pool with a 6 1/2 lber. and one guy going home with 3 keepers(didn't get his name). On the afternoon trip it was ditto with the wind fighting the tide until later. Once we got a drift in the right direction we picked away. Jenni 's partner Brad Weaver took the pool in the afternoon with another 6 1/2 lb flattie, so they had a good day. Here are a couple of pics so hope to see you soon. Thanks for looking in.

Sat 8/1 Two in a row
Another good morning even with a big gang as we picked away with shorts and keepers until we got invade by other boats and the drift got too fast. Pool winner Jimmy Lee got 4 keepers to 6 1/2 lbs, Courtney Doll 4 keepers(shown with 2), Jared 3 keepers and a good amount of other keepers all around the boat. On the afternoon trip the area was pretty much cleaned up but we pick a few shorts and keepers for an average afternoon. Jimmy Lee did it again for two in a row getting the pool with a 7 1/4 lb beauty. Rob Rial got a 4 lb flattie and Dina Elbeleidy a 3 1/2 lber.. Here are a few pics so hope to see you soon. Thanks for looking in.

Thurs / Friday What a turnaround
Some fishermen showed up for the morning trip on Thursday but only a handful in the afternoon. Fishing was not up to par with just a few keepers on both trips but decent short action and a little rain storm in the afternoon. Friday morning we started in the same are to find that it got replenished with some nice keepers. It turned out to be one of the best trips we have had keeper wise. Woody ended up with 4 keeprs to 5 lbs and Pat Lamb 3 including a 6 & a 6 1/2 lber. Mark Laird took the pool with a 7 1/2 lber and there were keepers around the boat. We only got a couple of drifts in on the afternoon trip before losing the drift with wind against tide. Mike did get a nice 6 3/4 lb beauty to take the pool. Here are a couple of pics.
