Friday 5/1 after the storm

No boats sailed in the morning and we were the only boat to get out in the after noon with small group despite the nice weather. Took a long ride looking for some readings going thru coffee and cream colored water and dodging alot of branches and logs in the water not expecting to find much.  When we did anchor up we didn't know what to expect but then caught a couple of shorts. Picked slowly even thru the change of tide and ended with a decent catch of keepers and 2x that in shorts, especially compared to the last few trips out. The Larry Weiss family from Metuchen fishing with rod rentals caught the pool fish and a few shorts.  The weather for the next week looks good so we hope to see you soon. Here are some pics.
