September 27 switching to bottom fishing

Looks like we will be shifting to bottom fishing on Wed Sept 29 since the weather the net couple of days will not let us get out and the fluke fishing is down to just a few keepers per trip. We still have have the RSA permit and leftover pounds to use but decided we can put more fish in the buckets shifting to sea bass & porgies at this time and will stay on the half day schedule. Hope to see u soon.

Friday, Sept 10 Report

Windy conditions again kept us near the beach but the action was good with a decent amount of keepers, Dave Frost got a half limit in the morning and came back out to get the other half giving him 6 for the day and the afternoon pool. Saturday looks like the weather will be better and we may try other areas. Hope to see u then

Thurs Sept 9 Report

Windy conditions the last couple days have limited the areas we can fish. Today however we got a little lucky working the beach having decent action with shorts and sea robins we also ended up with 18 keepers. The afternoon was not as productive but hopefully conditions will change and we can explore other areas. Hope to see u soon as we still have a lot of poundage to use up.

Monday, Sept 6 Fluke Report - RSA will keep us fluking

the morning started off slow picking shorts in the bay until the 2nd drift and Stu Melnick of tinton falls landed a lunker just over 9 lbs. we then took a ride out to the end of the channel to pick shorts and a few more keepers. on the afternoon trip we headed right out offshore for a good short action and some keepers including another doormat by John Doll of N middletown which was just under 9 lbs. we have the R S A permit and will continue fluking this month still on the same half day schedule. Congrats to Stu and John , nice job boys.
