Still a pick with the blackfish. The more experienced blackfishermen are catching their limits or better, but mostly everyone is going home with fish. Just a reminder that our Thanksgiving Day Blackfish trip departs at 7:30 AM and returns at 1:00 PM.

Thursday, Nov 18 & Friday, Nov 19

Didn't get a chance to report yesterday but had very good fishing on thursday with Jimmy Lee taking his limit out of 18 keepers and a number of shorts. Everybody went home with fish.

Today the same area did not produce as well with windy conditions making anchoring a little more difficult. We bounced around the area with some success, and finally tried one more drop further offshore that made the day.

Don't forget our Thanksgiving Day special blackfish trip. Departing at 7:30 AM and returning at 1:00 PM.

Tuesday, Nov 16

Good blackfishing for opening day. Several people with limits, and at least 4 fish over 6 lbs. Mike Bieda of Cliffwood Beach was today's pool winner. We won't be sailing tomorrow with the wind forecast, but the rest of the week looks nice.

Sunday Nov. 14 report

Another good day jigging stripers and will do it one more day till blackfish season opens. We are fishing fairly close 45 min out so that gives us alot of fishing time and the action has been good with shorts with keepers mixed in. Hope to see u tomorow.

Had another nice day striper fishing despite the big swells. John Doll of Middletown had 8 stripers, 3 of them were keepers. Everybody caught fish but not everyone caught keepers.

Because of the good striper fishing, we're going to continue targeting the bass until we switch over to blackfish on tuesday.

Friday, Nov 12

A lot more blues on today's trip. Tom Wilson of Perkasio, PA was high hook and pool winner. He took his limit out of 4 keepers, plus numerous shorts and blues.

Due to tomorrow's forecast for a continued groundswell, we have decided to go striper fishing again. On Sunday, Nov 14 we will be bottom fishing. Don't forget that starting Tuesday, Nov 16 we will start targeting Blackfish. All trips 3/4 day, departing at 7:30 AM.

Thurs 11/11 Veterans' Day Fishing Report

Because of the sea conditions we decided to striper fish for a couple of days, and although we didn't have much of a turnout, we had good fishing. Several limits, decent action, and blues mixed in. We going to target the bass again tomorrow.
