Up date to 10/30 - Nice weather but...

    Other than Sunday Oct 26 the weather has been nice but not too many patrons are showing up. Last Saturday we had ok fishing after making our way offshore. Sunday the winds blew harder then predicted gusting to 38 mph so we had to stay inshore and did not have a good day. Tuesday the forecast brought people down and we had good fishing catching lots of porgies and some nice sea bass mixed in. We have not been out since but hope to go tomorrow because the weekend does not look good with a high wind forecast. We may switch to striped bass when that fishing gets more consistent, hopefully by next week after this front goes through. We will be on the 3/4 day schedule for the rest of the year sailing at 7:30 AM. We hope to see you soon, here are a couple of pics and the sunset I didn't put on the last report.

Last half day trips 10/20

    We had a good morning trip with lots of action catching double header sea bass and porgies in the mix. Most went back but enough stayed on board to make it a good morning. On the afternoon trip it was a slower pick but most went home with some fish. We will be switching to 3/4 day now sailing one trip a day leaving at 7:30 A M returning between  2:30 & 3 P M. Here are a few pic including a dark sunset which is another reason to sail just a morning trip. The next 2 days do not look good so hope to see you from Friday on.

Update to Friday 10/17

    Have not sailed much this week with the weather and poor tunout. Had good fishing on Monday but then it went downhill from there. There is a big swell starting to build form the off shore hurricane heading towards Bermuda. On the bright side the Black Sea Bass fishery opens on Sat 10/18 where we can keep 15 fish over 12.5 inches. We will see what happens on Saturday but Sunday may be too windy. Give us a call if you are not sure. Monday looks nice so will will stay another day on the half day schedule.

Past week update to 10/12

   We did not make many trips this week due to weather and lack of customers. Friday morning we had good fishing with anglers going home with 15 to 20 keeper porgies but had to throw back some nice sea bass. No boats sailed on Saturday in the rain and on Sunday we just made it out in the morning but not in the beautiful afternoon, go figure. Fishing was not as good as  on Friday but everyone went home with fish. Today looks good and we are still on the half day schedule through next weekend. Hope to see you soon.
