It's been a while since I have posted any reports due to a hectic schedule and internet connection problems. Generally fishing is still good with lots of short action and not enough keepers.
This past weekend saturday morning was our best trip with over 40 keepers. That afternoon was only half as good, and sunday we had much slower fishing.
Yesterday afternoon we ventured out into the ocean and had a nice catch with only a few anglers showing up because of the weather forecast. Ed Shumate of Little Ferry was high hook with 5 keepers followed by Bob Sabo with 4 keepers - along with good short action.
This morning we fished the beach and ended up with a fair catch. John Mundjer was high hook with 4 keepers. We had better fishing in the afternoon with much better conditions. Ed Shumate came back out and won the pool.
