Thurs/Fri 8/14-15

     The fishing pretty much remains the same picking away at shorts with keepers mixed in. Friday morning after a long first drift with good short action but only a couple of keepers, we moved to another area to catch some nicer keepers but did not have the short action. Bob Stevens took the pool  with one of his two nice fish weighing in at 6 lbs. and young Brody Mikita got his first keeper. On the afternoon trip the southerly winds kicked up so it made it tough to fish where we wanted to. Not as good as the morning but did manage some nice keepers like Tim Cuttingham's pool winner of 4 1/4lbs. and  Lexie B got a couple of nice keepers also. On Thursday most of the keepers were close in size on both trips as a matter of  fact we had a tie for the pool on the afternoon that were only a couple of lbs.  Here are a few pics.
