Mon/Tues - Another 10.5 lb doormat

     On Monday morning we sailed  again  with a rather small crowd on both trips and the fishing was not as good. Went back out to the channel only to find a few shorts so we t6ried a couple other areas to get some more keepers and we did pick at shorts. On the afternoon trip we went a different way and finally put a small catch of keepers together wit David Bordoy and daughter in law Yadira getting 3 ks. Today we went back to the same area but had different conditions so we had to do a little power drifting to keep the lines straight. As we hit the change  and lost the drift we banged a 10.5 lb doormat by Blake Rutherford. A another 5 lber was caught  and several other keepers and  ok short action. The afternoon started very slow with only a pick of shorts but at the end some keepers started coming up and Mike took the pool with a 4 1/2 lber.  Hope to see you soon  as we are still sailing every day 2 trips.
